Dog parks will be targeted at Local Brisbane Park

Much to the horror of local dog owners, there has been a number of dog deaths at a local Brisbane park due to a someone baiting dogs with poisoned meat. To try to catch the perpetrator, Brisbane City council will install a number of hidden cameras around areas where dogs are allowed off their leash. They are hoping to catch the criminals in action and hold them accountable for the deaths of the dogs.

Poison has also been discovered at another park in Brisbane with a member of the public finding an empty packet of rat bait. A man had found the packet and also found some meat with the rat bait in it. There was then an evacuation of theĀ  park to ensure that it could be cleaned up and made safe again.

Police have also urged local residents to keep their eyes out for anyone that may look suspicious. They have also warned dog owners to do their best to prevent their dogs from eating any food off the ground.

The threat of poison has been a big deterrent for dog owners with the once busy park being almost deserted during peak times.
